His Medal is the source of his magic powers.
Without it, he can only use his Bow and Arrows.

What's his special ability and what triggers it?

Using the Medal, he is able to control and summon (From nearby) the Water, Fire, Nature, Darkness, Light and Air Elements. He only needs to channel energy from his Soul to the Medal, focusing the powers in whatever he wants to do.

Anything else we should know about him?

Haddock was born in a Refugee’s village created by the people who escaped from the War in his world. In this village, only the Elders knew all the truth about the Anihilation and the Destruction happening out of the limits of the Great Forest. But then, a part of that destructive world was brought by the destiny to Haddock’s hands.
His greatest enemy is called Silas, and they’ve already met several times, directly or indirectly, in his journey for the SIX STONES called HEXUS.
